As such, it seems as though he'll soon be motivated to break his own laws as the animated series on Disney+ nears its conclusion. Despite the Watcher's rules about non-interference, it seems as though a great threat will rise that could tear the entire fabric of reality and destroy the multiverse itself. In Marvel's What If.?, it's been teased that the Watcher will be forming a new team of superheroes known as the Guardians of the Multiverse, and trailers have confirmed several of the alternate MCU heroes the cosmic observer will soon recruit in the coming episodes.
